Regulatory Status
Kai-Signals, Unipessoal Lda is not authorised or regulated by the Comissão do Mercado de Valores Mobiliários (CMVM), the Portuguese financial markets authority, or by any other EU national competent authority as an investment firm, portfolio manager, or investment adviser.
What We Do
Kai-Signals distributes non-personalised investment recommendations as that term is defined in Article 3(1)(35) of EU Regulation No 596/2014 (Market Abuse Regulation, MAR) and the related delegated regulation EU 2016/958.
Non-personalised recommendations are distributed identically to all subscribers within the same subscription plan tier. They are not tailored to the financial situation, investment objectives, or risk tolerance of any individual subscriber.
What We Do Not Do
- We do not provide personalised investment recommendations to individuals.
- We do not manage client portfolios.
- We do not execute trades on behalf of clients.
- We do not hold client assets.
- We are not required to hold a MiFID II authorisation for the activity of distributing non-personalised recommendations under MAR.
Geographic Scope
The service is available exclusively to persons resident in the EU and EEA. We do not accept subscribers from the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or other non-EEA jurisdictions.
Disclosure Obligations
As a producer and distributor of investment recommendations under MAR and Delegated Regulation 2016/958, we are required to disclose:
- The identity of the producer
- Conflicts of interest (see our Conflicts of Interest page)
- Our methodology (see our Methodology page)
- That recommendations are non-personalised
These disclosures appear on every signal-bearing surface within the service.
